1. Kit Content
The 4-Pack is made up of 4 individual Testosterone Test Kits which should be opened on the day you intend to use them. Contact TestoChecker immediately if you didn’t receive all 4 Kits in your delivery.
Each Kit will contain:
- A Referral Form
- A collection vial
- Instructions
- Reply express paid satchel
It is highly unusual for a test kit to not have all components included, but we can fix that quickly should it ever happen, just let us know.
2. Referral Forms
Not long after placing the order you likely received an email from the Laboratory directly. It included a copy of your Referral Form. However, a hard copy of this form can be found in the Kits themselves. It may be easier to use those. (more below)
3. Labeling
Correctly applying your details to the Collection Vial [AKA test tube] and Referral Form is very important and requires full attention.
3.1 Collection vial – Use a Dark Colored Pen when neatly adding the below details to the test tube:
- Your full Name
- Your Date of Birth
- The current Date/Time
3.2 Referral Form – Select a (1) single Referral Form to return with each sample.
- Add the Name of the Hormone you are testing as seen in the image below.
- You do not need to add payment details.
- Consider adding any supplements/ esters / boosters you are using. (A separate piece of paper can be used/added for this purpose)
4. Track your sample to the lab
Don’t Void Your Return Delivery Warranty! Retain the tracking-ID sticker, or take a selfie beside it for the record. It can be found on the reply satchel exterior.
5. Avoid delays
Send samples back early in the week if possible to avoid weekend layover. (not essential)
6. Storing your sample
Samples can stay in the freezer temporarily if required. Do not exceed 7 days.
7. Listing any supplements
By adding the medications or supplements you may be using currently to the Referral, you improve the lab’s understanding of your result and potentially, the quality of the Summary you receive.
8. Record keeping
Consider keeping your own records and charts. It is these summarized personal observations that may ultimately prove the most valuable to you.
9. Tracker-T™
You can also track your testosterone level via the Tracker-T™ App. Unless you deactivate it, your Tracker-T™ updates itself each time you run a test.
10. Hormone Tracking & Consistent Conditions (recommended)
When tracking a hormone, it’s best to replicate the conditions for each collection. Providing your samples in ‘consistent conditions’ reduces the chance of external influence affecting the result. Because of that, it’s a good idea to ask yourself these 3 questions prior to each collection:
- Do I have any cold or flu symptoms? (note: blood detected in saliva will void the test, but we have you covered if it happens)
- Have I started or stopped medication and will it matter? If it’s maybe, consider holding off.
- Am I feeling any more stressed than usual? Again, if there’s any doubt, postpone.
